IDEATION LAB FOR COMMERCIAL INNOVATION

BUSINESS CHALLENGE
A food manufacturer partnered with Illumination to craft a process for developing Commercial Innovation Ideas.  The team piloted a mini-version of the process on one brand over 2.5 days leading multi-functional colleagues  through the process.

METHODOLOGY
3-phased Ideation Lab process
  1. Two-day activity-based online Bullet Board
  2. Insight and Ideation session with client pre-work
  3. Overnight Idea Screener with results  for the last day of the session

RESULTS
The team  developed nearly 200 ideas.  15 ideas were prioritized and placed in an overnight idea screener. The results from the screener scored ideas in a top tier,  mid-tier, bottom-tier format.  The mid and bottom-tier  were optimized on the last day of the session.
