Who We Are
- We are Illumination Research, a Division of Radius Global Market Research. In short, we are a full-service market research consultancy. We seek to uncover business-building insights by integrating behavioral-based qualitative and quantitative approaches. We are passionate researchers with curious and creative attitudes eager to discover the breakthrough insights clients seek. We are based out of Cincinnati, but this position could be remote.
Who You Are
- As an Insights Strategists you will have the opportunity to influence various levels of consumer research and ideation for our clients from Learning Plan development and Research Design to Moderating and Facilitation. The Insight Strategist is responsible for preparing the plan/guide for the research or facilitation, leading and executing the session(s) and writing and delivering the final report for each client project. Insight Strategists work closely with Project Directors during the planning stages and throughout the project to ensure it is executed with excellence.
- This position gives you the opportunity to join a medium size company that’s growing by leaps and bounds. You will gain exposure to a variety of clients, industries and methodologies, with a specialized interest in qualitative research. Joining a team of seasoned moderators, the ideal candidate will be a well-rounded researcher, have previous marketing and/or consumer research experience, and the ability to effectively interpret and explain consumer insights to clients in addition to helping out with capability, proposals and other organizational projects when not in research.
What You're Responsible For
Moderating & Facilitating
- Develop Objective-based Discussion Guides and Facilitation Guides to answer client business questions.
- Maintain a high level of client service and satisfaction. This is often evaluated by how often your clients request you for projects.
- Develop strong client relationships by being a thought leader for consumer research and ideation.
- Moderate interviews with respondents (either in focus group or one-on-one formats – in person, by phone, as well as online), building strong rapport with respondents to foster a safe environment for sharing
- Facilitate high energy Ideation sessions with clients and/or consumers to yield new ideas.
- Analyze consumer feedback discussed in research or ideas in a brainstorm, summarize and write clear, insightful and actionable reports (either in Word or PPT format).

- Able to work well under pressure, think on your feet and be flexible with changing need/objectives
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Market Research, Marketing, or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in market research, marketing, or agency account management
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Must be comfortable with frequent travel
